How to tell us about material in GrowthOS that infringes your copyright, and what happens when you do.
Last updated 4 October 2026
1. Where content in GrowthOS lives
Almost everything in GrowthOS is private to the agency that put it there — its files, documents and notes are not published on the internet. If you believe an agency is storing or sending material that infringes your copyright, tell us anyway and we will act on it.
2. How to send a notice
Send a written notice to our designated copyright agent, whose details are below. Under the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), it must include:
- your physical or electronic signature, as the copyright owner or a person authorised to act for them;
- a description of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed;
- a description of the material you believe infringes it, with enough detail for us to find it — for example the agency, the file name, or the email it appeared in;
- your name, postal address, telephone number and email address;
- a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law;
- a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act for them.
3. What happens next
We remove or disable access to the material promptly and tell the agency that put it there. A notice missing the details above may not be acted on.
Knowingly claiming that material infringes when it does not can make you liable for damages under the DMCA (17 U.S.C. § 512(f)).
4. If your material was removed by mistake
You can send a counter-notice to the same agent. It must include:
- your physical or electronic signature;
- a description of the material that was removed, and where it appeared before it was removed;
- a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake or misidentification;
- your name, postal address and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the US federal district court for your address — or, if you are outside the United States, any judicial district in which we may be found — and that you will accept service of legal papers from the person who sent the original notice.
Unless the person who sent the original notice tells us they have started a court action, we may restore the material 10 to 14 business days after we receive your counter-notice.
5. Repeat infringers
In appropriate circumstances we close the accounts of people and agencies who repeatedly infringe copyright.
6. Our designated copyright agent
Until our agent’s details are listed here, use the Feedback tab on the right-hand edge of any GrowthOS page to send a notice.
